Home. Self Portrait i

My name is Annalisa Caldon and I have been practising counselling and psychotherapy in London, Central Oxford and now Combe near Witney since 1998. I am committed to working in a compassionate and accepting environment.

I offer a confidential setting within which it is safe to share your unique life story, struggles and issues. The counselling is individually focused to enable you to explore your feelings and fears, as well as your hopes, aspirations and values.

I work with both individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

PTSD Counsellor and Somatic Trauma Work

I can also help you if you suffer from symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I work using the three stages of trauma recovery as depicted in Babette Rothschild's 'The Body Remembers'.

In addition to working with PTSD myself, I also organised and assisted on Babette's 'Somatic Trauma Trainings' which she runs in London, training professionals to work with trauma and PTSD.

Babette Rothschild is one of the leading writers and trainers on working with Trauma and PTSD. Amongst her books are The Body Remembers; The Case Book and The Eight Keys series.

Supervision

I have also completed Supervision Training with CSTD Bath (Centre for Supervision, Training and Development) and have obtained a Certificate Award. CSTD Bath is endorsed by The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy as a 'Recognised Supervisor Training' and meets all UKCP's requirements for Supervision Training.

Please do get in contact with me if you are interested in having a chat about your supervision needs.

Where to find me . . .

My psychotherapy practice is based in the village of Combe near Witney. There is parking at the location and my practice room sits behind the house in a lovely peaceful garden. I also work in Cowley, Oxford for one day a week. Spaces at this location are limited.
